In just a few years of collaboration, Matt Boswell and Matt Papa have written and recorded an already-classic catalog of hymns sung in churches around the world. Their songs, including such well-known titles as “His Mercy Is More” and “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death”, are listed in CCLI’s top 100 and appear in prominent streaming playlists. The newest collection, Our God Will Go Before Us, is the duo’s eagerly awaited third album of modern hymns, engaging individuals and congregations with songs to teach, learn, and sing the Christian faith.
In addition to the title track, each hymn in the new project is a reflection upon and celebration of the Gospel, from the upbeat rhythms and driving theology of “All My Boast Is in Jesus”, the gentle persuasions of “I Set My Hope (Hymn for a Deconstructing Friend)” and “God of Every Grace” featuring Sandra McCracken, to the anthemic praise of “The Lord Almighty Reigns” and “The Matchless Name of Jesus”. Cochren & Company joins the singing for a soulful reprisal of “His Mercy Is More”, and the stage is filled with Matts (including Matt Redman) for “Not to Us (One Name Forever Shall Be Praised)”!

Matt Boswell is lead pastor of The Trails Church in North Texas and the President of Doxology & Theology. He is an author and hymnwriter, known for songs including “His Mercy is More” and “Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery”. Boswell earned his MA in Christian Ministry, ThM in Biblical Spirituality, and PhD in Christian Worship from Southern Seminary. He lives in Texas with his wife and four kids.
A veteran songwriter and Christian musician, Matt Papa has carved an even more unique space for himself as one of the world’s top modern-day hymn writers. With songs like, “His Mercy Is More”, “Christ Our Hope In Life And Death” and “Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery”, Matt tours regularly across the U.S. as a songwriter with Getty Music and frequently guests on their tours. A three-time Dove Award nominated artist, Matt is on a mission to write songs that are singable, beautiful, and timeless. He currently serves as an artist-in-residence at Marco Presbyterian Church in Marco Island, FL, and most of all, is a husband, and a father to 5 beautiful children.
Michael Cochren is an award winning singer/songwriter and worship leader born and raised in a small Indiana town. After graduating from school, Cochren began playing music across the country with a band of friends, later including his wife Leah, under the name Cochren & Co. (pronounced Cochren and Company). With hope-filled lyrics and timeless melodies, Cochren & Co. blurs the line between American pop/rock and soul/blues to create a classic sound all their own. Dove Award Nominated Cochren & Co. have toured coast to coast amassing a loyal following of new listeners wherever they go.
For over a decade, Keith and Kristyn Getty have occupied a unique space in the world of music as pre-eminent modern hymn writers with hymns such as “In Christ Alone” among the 32 songs in the CCLI top 500 between the USA and UK. Born in Northern Ireland, the award-winning artists became the first musicians of the modern era to be given the OBE from Queen Elizabeth II for service to music and hymn writing.
They have become ambassadors for the genre, from their “Sing” book and Conference which welcomes over 15,000 people in Nashville every year, to performing for Presidents and Prime Ministers, a hymn tour and Christmas tour which plays annually at Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center (as well as two TV specials on PBS and TBN), as well as founding a publishing company, record label, and online learning site for a new generation of writers and church musicians. Keith and Kristyn live between Northern Ireland and Nashville with their four daughters.
Sandra McCracken is a songwriter, modern-day hymn writer, and record producer whose songs include “We Will Feast In The House Of Zion” and “Thy Mercy My God.” She is a founding member of Indelible Grace Music and Rain For Roots (children’s music) and has been a guest writer for Art House America, She Reads Truth, The Gospel Coalition, Christianity Today, RELEVANT Magazine and more. She is the author of Send Out Your Light: The Illuminating Power of Scripture and Song.
Matt Redman is married to Beth and they have five children. His journey as a worship leader and songwriter has taken him to countries such as South Africa, Japan, India, Australia and the Czech Republic. Along the way he has sung in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Wembley stadium, and the Royal Albert Hall - as well as recording in iconic studios such as Abbey Road in London and Capitol Records in LA.
